Custom 40 " Lectern lamp with adjustable legs
Enhance reading desks such as podiums, lecterns, ambos or pulpits with the elegant permanently mounted Ektralamp podium lamps. The rugged solid brass LED lamps provide even distribution of light over the entire reading area. These lights are perfect for church lecterns and pulpits, as well as for lecture hall podiums and even restaurant and bar hostess stations.
Cool dayligt white LEDs (2800K) provide bright lighting of reading material. Optional warm LEDs (4000K) are available for softer lighting. Our unique light tubes can be rotated to focus the light on the reading material with no glare to the audience or speaker. An optional dimmer can be installed to control the intensity of the light.
The unobtrusive light tubes are less than one inch in diameter. Standard lamps are either in eleven inches or twenty-one inches in width. We can easily provide custom designed lights to meet your particular requirements, often at no additional cost.

The lamps are mounted with either one or two mounting legs that extend through the podium top and are secured with nuts under the top. The standard mounting styles and sizes are:
Note that while designed for permanent installation, we can custom mount lamps on hardwood bases when permenent mounting is not feasible. Please call to discuss this option.
Each lamp has a switch on the left underside of the lamp.
The lamps operate at 12 volt DC provided by an included AC power adapter. The battery powered 11" lamp runs on 6VDC supplied by a battery pack of six C cells.
The long-lasting LEDs produce virtually no heat.
As each lamp is hand-crafted to order, we can accomodate alternative mounting methods, leg heights, or lamp widths. The adjustable lamp is available only in solid brass. All other lamps can be made of solid brass, aluminum, or aluminum painted black. We specialize in meeting special requirements.

Podium lamp dimmer
The Ektralamp dimmer allows the you to control the intensity of the podium lamp. The light intensity can be varied from full on to very dim or totally off. The dimmer is wired between the power adapter and the lamp, and can be placed at a convenient surface location or optionally mounted under the reading desk with just a shaft and knob projecting through the reading desk.
